The monthly gathering of the Enugu State Women's Prayer Network, held on Saturday, November 9, 2024, at Okpara Square, Independence Layout, was a resounding success. Among the prominent figures who lauds this spiritually uplifting event was the deputy leader and representative of Awgu North Constituency, Rt. Hon. Mrs. Jane Eneh. Her commendation highlighted the dedication and unity among women leaders committed to interceeding for the peace and prosperity of the state.

Mrs. Eneh expressed immense joy and gratitude to God for the success of the program. She emphasized the significance of the event as a platform for women across the state to come together in unity, faith, and resilience to pray for divine intervention and the well-being of the state. The gathering was indeed a testament to the unwavering power of collective prayer and the strength that women bring to the spiritual and social fabric of the state.

Acknowledging the vision and tireless commitment of the wife of the governor, Her Excellency, Mrs. Nkechinyere Ihuoma Mbah, the deputy leader, Mrs. Eneh commended her excellency for spearheading the initiative. Her Excellency’s continuous dedication to the prayer network has been instrumental in fostering a sense of unity and hope among the women of the state. Mrs. Mbah’s leadership and compassion have not only strengthened this program but have also positively impacted many lives, creating opportunities for women to voice their concerns, intercede for their communities, and find spiritual support in each other.




The event was marked by passionate prayers, worship, and intercession led by anointed ministers who have been pillars of faith in the network. Mrs. Eneh offered heartfelt prayers for more grace, strength, and divine inspiration for these ministers. She acknowledged their sacrifices and devotion, recognizing that their efforts are pivotal in nurturing the spiritual welfare of the state. Their guidance and prayerful ministrations have continued to touch lives and serve as a beacon of hope for the state.


The Enugu State Women's Prayer Network has become more than a prayer gathering; it is a platform for empowerment, connection, and shared purpose. Women from various sectors, including political leaders, clergy, and community representatives, come together in one accord, demonstrating the power of unity and faith in addressing the needs and challenges of our society.

In her closing remark while speaking with JANE-CARESTV, Mrs. Eneh encouraged women to continue to support and participate in this monthly gathering, as it remains a vital avenue for strengthening their faith, fostering unity, and seeking divine direction for the state and Nigeria as a whole.
