UNN 53RD CONVOCATION: ENUGU DEPUTY LEADER, ENEH CONGRATULATES MBAH ON HONORIS CAUSA AWARD

       Gov. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah of Enugu State 

The Deputy Leader of the Enugu State House of Assembly and member representing Awgu North Constituency, Rt. Hon. Mrs. Jane Eneh, has extended heartfelt congratulations to His Excellency, Dr. Peter Ndubuisi Mbah, the Executive Governor of Enugu State, on receiving the prestigious Honorary Doctoral Award of Doctor of Laws (D.Laws) Honoris Causa from the University of Nigeria, Nsukka, during its 53rd convocation ceremony on Saturday, December 21st, 2024.


Describing the award as a well-deserved honour, Rt. Hon. Mrs. Eneh commended Gov. Mbah for his unwavering commitment to transformative governance and his visionary leadership that has not only redefined Enugu State’s trajectory but has also set a benchmark for progressive leadership in the country. She noted that the recognition from such a distinguished institution is a testament to the governor’s enduring legacy of excellence, integrity, and innovation in public service.


Since assuming office, Gov. Mbah’s administration has been characterized by groundbreaking initiatives and policies that resonate with his philosophy of “Tomorrow is Here.” These efforts have fostered development across key sectors in the state, earning him accolades locally and internationally. 

Rt. Hon. Mrs. Eneh highlighted that the honorary doctorate serves as further validation of the governor’s exemplary strides and the positive impact of his leadership on Ndi Enugu and beyond.

As she celebrated this milestone achievement, Rt. Hon. Mrs. Eneh expressed her confidence that this recognition would inspire Gov. Mbah to continue his relentless pursuit of progress and development for the state. She prayed for more remarkable achievements in Mbah’s political journey, wishing him the strength and wisdom to steer the state to greater heights.

The honorary award by the University of Nigeria is a significant acknowledgement of Governor Peter Mbah’s remarkable contributions to governance, justice, and societal development. It is a proud moment for Enugu State, reflecting the collective aspiration for excellence and progress under his leadership.
