ENUGU DEPUTY LEADER, ENEH CONGRATULATES MRS MBAH ON BEST PERFORMING FIRST LADY AWARD

The Deputy Leader of the Enugu State House of Assembly and the Honourable Member representing Awgu North Constituency, Rt. Hon. Mrs. Jane Eneh, has extended her warmest congratulations to Her Excellency, Mrs. Nkechinyere Iheoma Mbah, the First Lady of Enugu State, on being honoured with the prestigious African Iconic Women Recognition Award 2025 as the "Best Performing First Lady of the Year."

The award, themed "Breaking Barriers, Building Legacies," recognizes Mrs. Nkechinyere Mbah’s remarkable contributions through her Custos Care Foundation, Enugu Women Monthly Prayer Network, and her efforts in partnership with the Enugu State Ministry of Children, Gender Affairs, and Social Development. Her initiatives have brought transformative empowerment to women, children, and teenagers across the state, creating lasting impacts and promoting social progress.

In her congratulatory message, Rt. Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh lauded Mrs. Nkechinyere Mbah’s dedication to humanitarian services and community development, saying:

"I heartily congratulate Her Excellency, Mrs. Nkechinyere Iheoma Mbah, on this well-deserved recognition as the Best Performing First Lady of the Year. Your tireless efforts and passion for empowering the vulnerable, uplifting women, and advocating for children have not gone unnoticed. Your work through Custos Care Foundation and other impactful initiatives is truly breaking barriers and building legacies for generations to come. Mrs Eneh emphasized that this award reflects not only Mrs. Mbah’s achievements but also the collective pride of Enugu State in having a compassionate and visionary First Lady who is committed to humanity and social development.
