ENUGU DEPUTY LEADER, ENEH CELEBRATES THE PILLARS OF SOCIETY ON MOTHERING SUNDAY 2025

As the world unites in celebrating the boundless love and sacrifices of mothers, Rt. Hon. Mrs. Jane C. Eneh, the esteemed representative of Awgu North Constituency and Deputy Leader of the 8th Assembly, extends a heartfelt appreciation to the phenomenal women who nurture families, shape communities, and inspire hope.

In her special message for Mothering Sunday 2025, Mrs. Eneh reflects on the enduring strength and selflessness that define motherhood. “Mothers are the silent architects of society, the guiding light in every home, the backbone of our communities and the unsung heroines who carry the weight of generations with grace and resilience. Your love, resilience, and unwavering dedication make the world a better place. Your sacrifices do not go unnoticed, and today, we celebrate you,” she said.

She acknowledges the tireless efforts of mothers who, despite challenges, continue to uplift those around them with grace and courage. From raising future leaders to fostering unity and compassion, their impact is immeasurable.

"As families gather to honour the incredible women in their lives, Mrs. Eneh encourages all to reflect on the values of love, patience, and kindness that motherhood embodies," she added. 

“Today, we celebrate not just the title of ‘mother’ but the extraordinary spirit behind it. May this day bring joy to every mother, grandmother, and caregiver who pours their heart into shaping a brighter future for us all,” she concluded.

Let this Mothering Sunday be a reminder of the immeasurable impact of a mother’s love and the power of a community that uplifts its women.
