As Nigeria celebrates Children’s Day 2025, the Deputy Leader of the Enugu State House of Assembly and Member representing Awgu North Constituency, Rt. Hon. Mrs. Jane Eneh (JP), has extended a heartfelt message to children in her constituency and across Enugu State — honouring their brilliance, dreams, and boundless potential.

In a message shared with JANE-CARESTV on May 27th, Children's Day Celebration, Mrs Eneh described children as “the heartbeat of every society and the living promises of a brighter future,” reaffirming her dedication to policies that protect and nurture their well-being, education, and development.

“Every child deserves love, security, and an environment where their dreams can thrive. On this special day, I celebrate the vibrant spirit of our children, and I reaffirm my commitment to building systems that support their growth — socially, emotionally, and academically,” she stated.

Known for her motherly leadership and passion for youth development, Mrs Eneh has championed several child-focused initiatives and legislative efforts aimed at improving access to quality education, safeguarding children's rights, and empowering families in Awgu North.

Children’s Day is more than a celebration — it is a call to action. Rt. Hon. Mrs Eneh used the occasion to urge parents & guardians, schools, community leaders, and policymakers to work hand-in-hand in creating a nurturing environment where every child can dream, learn, and grow without fear or limitation.

"As we collectively reflect on the future we're building for our children, Mrs. Eneh’s message resonates as both a celebration and a reminder — that investing in our children is investing in the soul of our society."

Happy Children’s Day, Ndi Awgu North and Entire Enugu State!
