MID-TERM STEWARDSHIP: ENUGU DEPUTY LEADER, ENEH, NDI ENUGU CELEBRATE TWO YEARS OF TRANSFORMATIVE LEADERSHIP UNDER GOV. MBAH

As Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah marks two years in office on Thursday, May 29, 2025, the people of Enugu State reflect on a period characterized by visionary leadership and groundbreaking achievements.

From the outset, Governor Mbah sets an ambitious agenda to reposition Enugu State as a hub of innovation and development. His administration's commitment to excellence is evident in numerous sectors:

EDUCATION: The launch of the Smart Green Schools initiative across the 260 wards in the state aims to equip students with digital skills and modern knowledge, preparing them for a technology-driven world.  

INFRASTRUCTURE: The commissioning of 71 urban road projects and the initiation of 80 more have significantly improved connectivity and transportation within the state.  

WATER SUPPLY: The successful implementation of the 9th Mile 24/7 Water Scheme and the revival of the Oji-River Water Scheme Project have increased water production from 2 million to 120 million litres for urban demand.  

ECONOMIC GROWTH: Under Mbah's leadership, Enugu's Internally Generated Revenue soared from N37.4 billion at the end of 2023 to N144.7 billion in September 2024, reflecting a 286.2% increase.  

URBAN DEVELOPMENT: The New Enugu City project, spanning 10,000 hectares, is set to transform the state's landscape with dedicated power supply, high-speed internet, and modern transportation systems.  

These accomplishments, among others, underscore Governor Mbah's dedication to delivering on his promises and fostering a prosperous Enugu State.

Rt. Hon. Mrs. Jane Eneh, Deputy Leader of the Enugu State House of Assembly and Member representing Awgu North Constituency, extends her heartfelt congratulations to Gov. Mbah. She commends his unwavering commitment to progress and his ability to inspire hope through action.
