Rt. Hon. Mrs Jane Eneh, Deputy Leader of the Enugu State House of Assembly and Member representing Awgu North Constituency, has lauded Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah of Enugu State for revolutionizing public transport system with the commissioning of ultramodern terminals and 100 CNG-powered buses on Thursday, August 14, 2025.
In a message of commendation, Mrs Eneh commended the governor’s disruptive innovation, noting, "This landmark initiative is reshaping the state's transport sector, empowering commuters, and setting a new standard for modern governance."
Gov. Mbah’s visionary infrastructure drive — including Smart Green Schools, state-of-the-art health facilities, security modernization, and the planned Enugu Smart City — reflects a holistic transformation agenda.
With integrated terminals in Holy Ghost, Nsukka, Gariki, Abakpa, and other key areas, this transport ecosystem also features CNG mass transit, e-ticketing, and job creation for thousands, with clean, efficient and inclusive service embedded at its core.
Mrs Eneh concluded with appreciation for Governor Mbah’s disruptive leadership policy, encouraging Ndi Enugu to embrace and support these transformative efforts.
“Enugu’s modern transport system redefines our state and defines the future of human-centred development,” Mrs Eneh stated.
Truly, our long-awaited tomorrow is already here staring at us in the face, Mrs Eneh added.
