JANE-CARESTV proudly joins well-wishers across the nation to extend heartfelt congratulations to our Icon, Rt. Hon. Mrs. Jane C. Eneh, Deputy Leader of the 8th Assembly and Member representing Awgu North Constituency, on her recognition with the prestigious National Merit Award for "Excellent Stewardship in Grassroots Development."

This honour — officially conveyed to her office through a letter of notification from the Office of the Presidency and the Association of Local Government Information Officers of Nigeria (ALGON-INFO), during its 2025 National Conference held in Abuja from September 22nd to 28th — acknowledges her immeasurable contributions to grassroots empowerment, legislative excellence, and transformative leadership. These enduring qualities have not only distinguished her among her peers but also strengthened the trust of her constituents in Awgu North and beyond.




Rt. Hon. Mrs. Eneh’s record of service speaks volumes: from championing education and community empowerment to pioneering inclusive policies in the hallowed chambers of the Enugu State House of Assembly (ENHA).

Her tenure has seen the rehabilitation of over 14 schools, scholarships for indigent students, women and youth empowerment initiatives, and unwavering advocacy for social justice. These efforts underscore the spirit of the award — honouring leaders who bring democracy closer to the people.
