It's a moment of jubilation and heartfelt commendation as the deputy leader of the Enugu State House of Assembly and member representing Awgu North Constituency, Rt. Hon. Mrs. Jane C. Eneh lauds the wife of the governor, Her Excellency, Mrs. Nkechinyere Iheoma Mbah, for her visionary leadership and unwavering dedication to the welfare of women and children across the state.
Speaking after the First Lady’s empowerment outreach at Owo in Nkanu East Local Government Area, on Saturday, September 20, 2025, Mrs Eneh described the initiative as “a shining example of purposeful leadership that uplifts lives and inspires hope.” She noted that Mrs. Mbah’s consistent commitment to advancing the well-being of women has continued to redefine empowerment at the grassroots level.
Mrs Eneh commended the First Lady for her humility, compassion, and determination in touching lives, stressing that the empowerment drive was not only timely but a testament to her genuine concern for the "most vulnerable."
“Her Excellency has become a beacon of inspiration, showing that leadership is about service, compassion, and creating opportunities for others. Through her efforts, many women now have re-energized strength to pursue their dreams and support their families,” Mrs Eneh remarks.
In her message of goodwill, the lawmaker wished Mrs. Mbah more grace and divine guidance as she continues her service to humanity, noting that Enugu women are deeply encouraged by her selfless commitment. She further called on communities to rally behind the First Lady, stressing that such transformative initiatives strengthen families, empower women, and secure the future of children, among others.
The commendation by Mrs Eneh underscores the growing admiration for the First Lady’s grassroots impact, which has positioned her as a true pillar of support for women and girl children across the state.
