NOVEMBER 2025 EDITION: DEPUTY LEADER, JANE ENEH JOINS WOMEN IN PRAYER AS ENUGU MONTHLY NETWORK RECORDS WIDER PARTICIPATION

On Sunday, November 9th, 2025, women from across Enugu State gathered once again at the Michael Okpara Square for the November edition of the Enugu Women Monthly Prayer Network—a monthly fellowship dedicated to interceding for families, communities, and leadership across the state. The atmosphere was filled with worship, gratitude, and heartfelt intercession as women lifted united prayers for peace, stability, and continued progress in the state.

This month’s gathering witnessed a remarkable blend of stakeholders, including the Enugu State APC Caretaker Committee led by Ben Nwoye (Chairman), with Eugene Odoh (Secretary), Oby Ajih (Member), and Chiedozie Nwafor (Member) in attendance. Also present were notable women leaders; Prof. Benedeth Ekwutosi Okoli (Commissioner for Energy/Mineral Resources), Mrs. Ngozi Enih (Commissioner for Children, Gender Affairs & Social Development), and representatives across the local government areas. The Deputy Leader of the State House of Assembly and Member representing Awgu North Constituency, Rt. Hon. Mrs. Jane C. Eneh was also in fellowship, maintaining her consistent presence as a woman deeply aligned with the spiritual and communal values of the network.

The prayer network acknowledges and appreciates the leadership of Her Excellency, Mrs. Nkechinyere Iheoma Mbah, Wife of the Governor of Enugu State, who serves as the leader of the Women Prayer gathering, providing guidance and moral support to the growing movement. The coordination of the November session was ably handled by Dr. Favour Ugwuanyi, whose stewardship helped ensure a smooth and impactful gathering.

Participants described the fellowship as spiritually uplifting, noting that seeing women from diverse political and social backgrounds unite in prayer demonstrates a deeper commitment to the collective well-being of Enugu State. “This gathering reminds us that when women stand together in prayer, we rise above division. It strengthens both our homes and our state,” one participant remarked. The session concluded with focused prayers for the governor, state leaders, families, economic growth of the state, and lasting peace across Enugu.

As the December edition approaches, every woman of faith is encouraged to continue taking her place in this circle of intercession. The Enugu Women Monthly Prayer Network continues to grow not only in numbers, but also in unity, purpose, and spiritual influence across the state.

Truly, our Tomorrow is Here.
