The Deputy Leader of the Enugu State House of Assembly and Member representing Awgu North Constituency, Rt. Hon. Mrs. Jane C. Eneh, has applauded the bold security reforms of Governor Peter Ndubuisi Mbah following the state government’s acquisition and deployment of hi-tech surveillance drones, improved patrol vehicles, and other advanced security assets aimed at strengthening the fight against crime across the state.

In a statement issued on Tuesday, December 2, 2025, and made available to JANE-CARESTV, Mrs. Eneh described the Governor’s latest security investment as “a deliberate, intelligent, and highly strategic step towards safeguarding lives, rebuilding confidence in rural communities, and promoting sustainable development.”

She noted that the introduction of AI-enabled surveillance systems, an upgraded command-and-control hub, and enhanced distress-response vehicles demonstrates a leadership deeply committed to modern governance and innovative problem-solving policy.

“Governor Mbah has once again shown that his approach to leadership is intentional, data-driven, and designed to deliver measurable impact,” she said. “These newly deployed drones and patrol assets will transform our statewide security architecture, particularly in rural communities where farmers and small business owners have long faced security threats.”

Mrs. Eneh emphasized that the governor's continuous investment in modern security technology has already yielded significant improvements, with reported reductions in violent crimes and improved response times from security agencies. She added that the latest intervention will help restore peace and stability in vulnerable communities, allowing the people to pursue their livelihoods without fear.

She further commended the administration’s vision of integrating technology into governance, stating that such forward-thinking policies align with global security standards.

“By prioritizing safety and embracing technology, His Excellency has reaffirmed his commitment to building a secure, modern, and economically vibrant Enugu State. This is the kind of leadership our people deserve,” Mrs Eneh added.

Mrs. Eneh urged constituents, community leaders, and stakeholders across Awgu North to support the state government’s security initiatives, noting that security thrives when citizens collaborate actively with law enforcement agencies.

She reassured her constituents of her unwavering dedication to advocating policies that promote peace, enhance community protection, and accelerate development across Awgu North Constituency.

“A safer Enugu is a stronger Enugu,” she concluded. “We must all join hands with the governor to ensure that our communities enjoy the full benefits of this bold and visionary security transformation.”
