The Deputy Leader of the Enugu State House of Assembly and Member representing Awgu North Constituency, Rt. Hon. Mrs Jane C. Eneh has called on constituents to actively participate in the ongoing All Progressives Congress (APC) Party Membership E-Registration Exercise across the state, describing it as a strategic opportunity to strengthen grassroots inclusion and reposition the state within the country's ruling political structure.
Mrs Eneh made the call while supporting the recent statewide flag-off of the E-registration exercise by Gov. Mbah on Thursday, January 8, 2026, at Owo, Nkanu East Local Government Area of the state, which aims to digitally expand and modernize the APC membership base. According to her, the exercise goes beyond party enrolment, representing a critical step towards inclusive governance, political relevance, and effective representation.
“This E-registration exercise gives our people a clear pathway to be counted and fully integrated into a political process that prioritizes structure, data, and participation. “Active registration today lays the foundation for stronger engagement and greater benefits for our communities tomorrow,” Mrs Eneh stated after her E-Registration Exercise in her ward.
The lawmaker encourages youths, women, and grassroots stakeholders to take advantage of the exercise taking place across wards and local government areas, noting that political strength begins with active participation at the community level where numbers remain vital. Mrs Eneh stressed that a digitally driven membership system will enhance transparency, planning, and responsiveness within the party.
“As a people, we must move from the margins to the centre by making deliberate choices that secure our collective future. Registering is not just a party decision; it is a civic responsibility,” she added.
