CELEBRATING THE PILLARS OF OUR NATION: ENUGU DEPUTY LEADER, ENEH SENDS MOTHERING SUNDAY MESSAGE TO AWGU NORTH WOMEN

​Today, as we join the Catholic Women Organization to celebrate the 2026 Mothering Sunday, my heart is filled with profound joy and immense happiness as I greet our extraordinary women of Awgu North.

​Mothering Sunday is not merely a date on the calendar; it is a profound testament to the divine role women play as the heartbeat of our families and the bedrock of our society. To every mother, grandmother, and woman serving in a mothering capacity across our constituency: you are our greatest architects of peace, strength, and progress.

​Your sacrifices, often made in the quiet corners of our homes, do not go unnoticed. You are the nurturers who instil values, the teachers who guide our children’s first steps, and the unwavering pillars that keep our communities standing tall even in challenging times. As your representative, I see the strength you bring to our collective growth, our churches, and our political landscape daily.

​As we celebrate today, let us not only offer flowers and kind words; let us also recommit to creating environments where every woman can thrive. Let us collectively champion policies that protect your dignity, empower your economic aspirations, and ensure your voices remain central in the governance of our dear state.

​To the women of Awgu North, your effort shapes the future of this constituency. I am honoured to serve you, to learn from you, and to fight for the brighter future you are building for our children.

​May this celebration bring you immense joy, more strength, and the recognition you so richly deserve.
